hector vae is a mexican producer, vocalist, and songwriter from tepic, nayarit, mexico. after cutting his teeth in 2016 on tracks like lil peep’s ‘october’ and night lovell’s 'casket', hector would spend the next several years refining his dark, ambient, orchestral sound before releasing his first solo project, 'homesick', in 2021. inspired, yet equally traumatized by the hardships of growing up in rural mexico, hector's work is autobiographical, recounting stories of sacrifice, betrayal, and his triumph over struggle
